Jongert 27 m
“ISABEL” (Adventure of Simrishamn) is a 27 meter Bermuda ketch-rigged Yacht with a cutter mainmast, built by Jongert in 1983 and designed by Willem De Vries Lentsch, Holland; Int. & Peter Sijm. ISABEL was initially ordered by a member of the Saudi Royal Family, during her years she has been scrupulously maintained and has under-gone three large refits; the last renewal in 2011-2014 included brand new navigation and communication systems and 6 new Bank and North Sails.
ISABEL is an exceptional blue water cruising yacht, she is round bilged and constructed of 6-9mm marine grade steel. ISABEL is unique for a Jongert due to her high and large sail area, hence she is both fast in a close reach and open winds. All her headsails, main and mizzen are manoeuvred by hydraulic Rondal furling systems and all sheets are handled by electrical Lewmar winches with automatic gears. ISABEL has a slender hull and with a weight of nearly 90 mT fully laden, she offers luxury comfort and state of the art safety in the most demanding of conditions.
ISABEL can accommodate up to 12 guests in her 4 cabins. The interior boasts an open deck saloon with 360 degree views with beautiful joinery throughout, which has ample space and seating for 12 persons. The owner’s quarters are situated up the forward stairway and comes with a large en-suite bathroom. There is a symmetrical cabin to starboard and further forward of the companionway there are two identical cabins with 2-Pullman beds; all cabins come with their own en-suite bathrooms. The starboard side cabin also facilitates a small office area.
ISABEL has triple backup navigation and communication systems which are GMDSS. In addition there is a Wi-Fi network throughout the Yacht.
